This is a running list of major updates that we have made to Spotter Studio.
We won't share every bug fix here, but we are constantly looking to make improvements to your experience so if you have feedback please do not hesitate to share.

🎨Introducing Idea Canvas Overview (beta)
As part of Spotter Studio, we’ve created Idea Canvas, a freeform whitespace designed to make it easier for you to brainstorm 100s of new ideas. Idea Canvas allows for flexible, intuitive brainstorming, leveraging Spotter AI while enabling a visually driven ideation practice.
Idea Canvas helps creators:
Ideate freely without limitations: An infinite canvas designed for rapid ideation. Purposely built for how Creators brainstorm.
Brainstorm 100s of ideas: Start from scratch or use Brainstorm to see hundreds of title, thumbnails and hook ideas in minutes.
Bank ideas to refine, organize, prioritize: Users can explode, and bank ideas for later use.
How to use Idea Canvas
Within Idea Canvas, you can:
Pick a starting point with inspiration blocks:
Capture an idea - quickly jot down an idea you can either add directly to your Idea Bank or Brainstorm further
Start with videos my audience also watches - use videos your audience also watch as a starting point
Use recent Outliers as inspiration - this surfaces your recent outliers for you to bein brainstorming
Generate video ideas based on my channel - suggest videos that are personalized to your channel
Start from my channel themes - these are specific themes personalized to your channel
Add sticky notes - use sticky notes to capture ideas
Explore an infinite workspace to brainstorm, generate, and capture ideas for video concepts.
Drag and drop Inspiration Blocks to spark new ideas from YouTube search, topics, and high performing titles.
Use the Hover Menu to quickly modify, explode, or combine ideas for iterative brainstorming.
Seamlessly bank ideas to the Idea Bank without disrupting the creative flow.
Pan, zoom, copy, paste, and duplicate text blocks for a fluid brainstorming experience.

💡Idea Bank
Personalized Filtering
We’ve made Idea Bank more intuitive with improvements to filtering and title strength visibility.
AI Category Settings Now in Filters – AI categories can now be adjusted directly from the Filters popover, making them easier to access.
Improved Clarity to Title Strength Scores
You can now hover over Title Strength scores to see explanations that help you refine your ideas:
Ok – This title has potential but may need improvement.
Better – A strong title, but it could be even more compelling.
Best – A high-quality title with strong audience appeal.
These updates make organizing and optimizing ideas easier so you can focus on crafting high-impact video concepts.
🪲Bug fixes:
Inspiration Slider for Titles & Hooks Fixed – Now works correctly, ensuring smoother brainstorming.
Seamless Project Deletion – Deleting a project now redirects to the Ideas tab, and the “Oops” message no longer appears after deletion.
Project Access Consistency – Projects created from the Calendar tab now default to Team access, aligning with Projects tab behavior.
Apply Button Fix in Idea Bank – The text no longer disappears after clicking Apply in the Suggested AI Tags dialog. If loading, it will now display "Loading...".
Thumbnail Update Messaging in Idea Bank – When clicking “+Keep” on thumbnails consecutively in Idea Bank, the correct "Thumbnail updated" message now appears.

Smarter Organization & Tagging
We’ve improved the welcome experience in Idea Bank, making it easier to organize and find your best ideas.
New Tagging Options – Choose how to categorize your ideas based on:
Activity – What stage your idea is in.
Location – Where your idea fits within your content strategy.
Theme – Group ideas by overarching topics.
Type – Organize by video format or structure.
These updates help you structure your Idea Bank in a way that works best for your creative process.
🪲 Bug Fixes
Improved Title Strength Clarity – Now, it’s easier to see whether Title Strength is turned on or off within Idea Bank.
Consistent Video Preview Experience – The video preview now closes automatically after clicking the Brainstorm button in the Saved list.
Outliers Video Sizing Fixed – Videos in the Saved list now display at consistent sizes, ensuring a smoother research experience.
Scroll overflow arrows now have an improved background for better visibility.
The "Apply" button is now disabled until an item is selected in the AI tags modal, preventing accidental selections.

As part of Spotter Studio, we’ve created the Idea Bank, the best place to save all your YouTube video ideas. It empowers you to rapidly add, organize, and prioritize your video ideas with Spotter AI support.
Idea Bank helps creators:
Capture ideas effortlessly: A streamlined system allows creators to quickly input and save ideas without barriers.
Organize ideas effectively: Provides ways to tag, filter, and sort ideas based on customizable criteria.
Prioritize the best ideas: Enables you to rank and transition ideas into Projects based on relevance, engagement potential, and other insights with Spotter AI.
Within Idea Bank, you can:
Add new ideas through a persistent input bar at the top of the page.
Rank titles with Title Strength, an estimate of your titles' click-through strength based on machine learning models built specifically for YouTube.
Tag your Ideas to organize ideas with your own tags or personalized tags – every time you add a new idea, we’ll come up with new suggestions.
Add a title and thumbnail to flesh out your idea with an AI-powered title and thumbnail concept, or upload or type yourself.
Rank your idea by giving one to three stars to help prioritize ideas. Sort by score to see your best ideas.
Graduate ideas between statuses such as "Idea", "In Development”, and “Published"
Filter ideas by tags, statuses, or engagement potential to surface relevant entries.
Preview projects through an expandable view for better context.
Brainstorm from within Idea Bank to get more video ideas quickly. Try brainstorming from a typed-in topic or tag or start from scratch.

We’ve updated Home to make navigating Spotter Studio easier, more intuitive, and better aligned with your creative process.
Simpler Navigation – A simpler home page that clearly separates key phases of ideation and makes new features more discoverable.
Idea Bank Quick Capture – Quickly add ideas to your Idea Bank with a new modal-based input, replacing the previous "New Project" action.
Scroll for more - Scroll down to see ideas personalized for you, your latest ideas and projects, and trending outliers.
Refined Nav Bar – Core actions are now clearer and more action-oriented, while Labs has been repositioned to keep the interface clean.

Resolved Stripe Billing Issue – Fixed a bug where four free plan users were incorrectly charged.
Subscription Updates in Bowser – Now properly reflects plan changes when upgrading from monthly to annual.
Published Videos Now Display Correctly – Missing published videos in Projects are now visible.
