Labs Overview

Spotter Labs a dedicated space for you to explore and use experimental tools designed to generate new and approve upon ideas for your existing or upcoming video projects. Each tool within Spotter Labs is designed to address real challenges that so many creators face in their unique and individual creative processes.

Drawing on hundreds of conversations with creators, entertainment industry experts, and AI platforms like OpenAI, we uncovered the key pain points to solve for creators that we have a competitive advantage in. Spotter is focused on solving key problems around research, ideation, and project management.

Like Spotter Studio, rest assured all ideas are “tuned” to you by custom data to create a more personalized experience.


Currently Available Spotter Labs Features

We have six AI-powered tools ready for you to experiment with that will provide completely personalized results based on your channel, your favorite channels, and what your audience also watches. They are:

  1. Trend Spotter - which helps you track, research, and save top-performing videos of your own, of channels your audience also watches, and across YouTube in general, so that you can create better videos more consistently.

  2. Idea Generator - which is designed to assist in brainstorming video concepts, titles, and thumbnails from start to finish based on a mix of your successful videos and trending videos from other creators who share your audience.

  3. Idea Workshop - which is designed to build out and refine your ideas while instilling confidence in them moving forward.

  4. Title Roulette - which helps creators refine and ultimately lock-in one specific title in efforts to improve their packaging.

  5. Thumbnail Explorer - a tool to help visualize various thumbnails with a focus on simplicity and effectiveness, adhering to YouTube title theory with clear color blocks and simple designs to serve as inspiration for the real thumbnail.

  6. Title Exploder - an advanced tool for creating the perfect title, whether you are trying to improve an old video’s performance or brainstorming for a brand new one.

  • You are playing at the cutting edge of research, ideation, and workflow tools to help you win - Labs is the experimental playground within Studio. These are some of the most innovative, advanced tools to get an edge and improve performance.

  • The Labs tools are experimental and may not work perfectly - This means there might be bugs and a few tools may not work as intended. Please share your feedback and what you want us to build for you next [email protected]

  • These tools can cycle in and out of Labs - we’re constantly gathering feedback from creators like you. If there is a Labs tool you and other creators really enjoy, we’ll likely graduate that feature into Studio. In the future, more pain points will pop up, and we’re here to build tools to help alleviate, but we need to hear about it from you!
